High-Rise Haven
Interior designer Wendy Blount teams up with the Novare Group on its newest Midtown high-rise: Viewpoint Written by Kelly Kunkel
Novare Group is known throughout the Southeast for its high-rise projects that put a distinctive stamp on urban living, and this month, the sales center for its newest high-rise, ViewPoint, opens at 855 Peachtree.
Designing ViewPoint's model home is interior designer Wendy Blount of Blount Architectural and Interior Design. Blount brings her fresh eye and sophisticated styling to ViewPoint's stunning elements such as floor-to-ceiling windows, stainless-steel appliances, granite countertops, 10-foot ceilings, open floor plans, and spectacular views. Thrilled with the opportunity to jump into commercial design, Blount says she wants people "to love inner-city living because that's where the future of Atlanta is."
"Novare's clients are hip and forward-thinking," says Blount. "They want something very cool: sophisticated color palettes with creative styling." With the kitchen cabinetry, granite countertops and hardwoods already chosen, Blount worked with the warm palette by pulling in more shades of the existing features to create a "layered, put-together look."
